Payment & Insurance Coverage HeartScan-Washington, D.C. is working with major carriers in the Capitol Area to accept assignment of insurance for the convenience of our patients. Until those agreements are finalized, payment may be required when services are rendered. We accept both Visa and MasterCard. The charge for the EBCS test is $495. The charge for a Chest Scan is $350 if performed at the time of an EBCS Scan.  The charge for a Chest Scan alone is $495. We will provide you with the documentation necessary to file a claim with your insurance carrier. Coverage of the tests provided at HeartScan-Washington, D.C. will depend on your specific insurance plan. In general, self-referred preventive tests are not covered medical expenses.
