Coronary Artery Scan (Calcium Scoring): includes a coronary artery screening exam and interpretation by a board certified physician. The coronary calcium score is computed and included with other cardiovascular risk findings in a comprehensive report.

Full Body Scan: includes a Coronary Artery Scan of the heart, a chest screen, and a screening exam of the abdomen and pelvis. The heart is interpreted by a board certified physician, and the chest, abdomen and pelvis are read by a radiologist, who examines the lungs, liver, spleen gall bladder, pancreas, spine, kidneys and prostate gland.

Virtual Colonography: includes a complete scan of the lower abdomen and pelvis in conjunction with contrast of the colon. A radiologist exams the CT slices and colon fly-through movie. Requires advance preparation.

Bone Density Scan: includes a 3D volumetric scan of the lumbar spine, and a QCT-PROtm report on the risk of osteoporosis and fracture. The study is reviewed by a physician. This test is especially recommended for post-menopausal women.

Mesenteric Fat Measurement: includes a single low-dose EBT abdominal scan at the level of the umbilicus. Histogram ROI analysis is then applied to determine the areas of total fat, intra-abdominal (visceral) fat, muscle, and bone. Composition ratios have been found to relate to health status and risk factors as interpreted by a physician.

Computed Tomography Angiogram (CTA): includes an intravenous contrast study of the coronary arteries and bypass grafts (if present) in addition to a standard Coronary Artery Scan. The 3D angiogram is interpreted by an experienced cardiac angiographer.

Payment for services is due at the time of service by cash, check, or credit card. HeartScan will provide you with documentation that you may submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. Coverage of the services provided by HeartScan is insurance carrier specific.
